Wanderlust means a strong desire to travel, and this gorgeous collection takes its inspiration from some of the most beautiful walks across the British Isles, with every shade named after a different place to explore.
Spun from 80% Masham wool and 20% nylon, Wanderlust celebrates a wonderful British sheep breed known for its long, lustrous fleece. The Masham gives the yarn character, softness and fabulous stitch definition, while the nylon adds strength and durability – exactly what you need for socks that are made to be worn rather than kept for best.
But don’t restrict this beauty to your feet! With a very generous 468 metres in each 100g hank, Wanderlust is also a fabulous choice for shawls, lightweight accessories, colourwork and 4ply garments.
All of the wool used comes from non-mulesed sheep.

Oh, I really like this one! There’s something particularly lovely about a sock yarn that actually celebrates the breed of sheep the wool has come from, and Masham is such a fabulous choice.
It has that lovely proper-wool character and beautiful stitch definition, but the addition of nylon means you can knit yourself a pair of socks and actually wear them without treating them like precious little museum exhibits!
I also love the idea behind the shade names. Each one is inspired by a beautiful walk somewhere in the British Isles, so apparently we’re now able to justify buying yarn as research for our next holiday. You’re welcome. 😂
And at 468 metres per hank, I definitely wouldn’t keep Wanderlust just for socks – I’d happily use this for shawls, colourwork and lightweight garments too.
