Suave is truly unique among pure cotton yarns because the fibers are not spun in the usual way: a kind of cotton mesh tube holds the loose fibers together. Furthermore, this vegan yarn is organic.
The cotton fibers, which are sourced for us in India in accordance with the strict ecological and social requirements for the GOTS seal, are processed and dyed in Italy to create this unique yarn quality.
Suave is wonderfully easy to knit and of course also to crochet.
When ironed, Suave knitwear acquires a smooth surface; brushed, however, it becomes soft and fluffy, reminiscent of cashmere and mohair. Suave is therefore a great alternative for people with wool allergies and vegans!
Suave is perfect for lightweight garments like sweaters and cardigans, but its beautiful drape also makes it ideal for scarves and shawls. Because the yarn is so wonderfully soft, it can be worn directly against the skin; even children and those with sensitive skin will love it!
