Limited Edition BaoBao Shawl Kit by Isabell Kraemer

A beautiful box of colour, a wonderfully wearable shawl and plenty of opportunity to make it completely your own.

The BaoBao Shawl by Isabell Kraemer is one of those projects that is an absolute joy to knit – playing with colour as you go to create a wonderfully lightweight shawl with a fabulous contemporary feel.

For our Yarn Etc BaoBao Kits, Fiona has put together a gorgeous palette of 13 colours of Lang Noelle 4ply, carefully selected to work beautifully together. Noelle creates a wonderfully light fabric, making this a shawl that is easy to wear, layer and wrap around you without feeling heavy.

We have created two colourway options, each containing the same beautiful mix of shades but with a different main border colour:

Cream Border – finished with a soft, warm cream
Pale Blue Border – finished with a delicate, barely-there blue

What’s in your kit?

• 11 × 12.5g mini balls of Lang Noelle 4ply in coordinating colours
• 1 x 6g mini ball of Lang Noelle 4ply in Jade Green.
• 1 × 25g ball of Lang Noelle 4ply in your chosen border colour
• A printed copy of the BaoBao Shawl pattern
• A PDF copy of the pattern, purchased for you via Ravelry
• Fiona’s BaoBao Recipe Sheet, including our colour sequence, needle notes and handy hints from knitting the shawl ourselves

We have given you Fiona’s exact colour recipe if you’d like to recreate our shop sample, but this is very much a play with your colours kind of project. Follow our sequence, swap a few around or throw the recipe sheet to one side and create your own – your kit, your shawl, your rules!

The finished shawl is beautifully lightweight, the finished shawl is beautifully lightweight, gloriously colourful and just gorgeous to wear – a real statement piece that somehow seems to work with everything and is just gorgeous to wear.
