I can’t believe just how quickly this years’ Summer Wool fest came and went. It was, as always a wonderful weekend filled with gorgeous stalls of stunning yarn and event more fabulous people – it was super to see so many faces that I have met each year over the last three years, thank you so much for coming and saying Hi and showing off what you made with your purchases from last year, they all look amazing.
We (the lovely Linda, glamorous assistant Ross and I) had a long trip down to Ampthill on the Friday in 30 degree heat and when we finally arrived an hour and a half late we started the mammoth task of set up. Every year I decide in advance that I will have a trial run in the Den at the shop so I know where everything will go but every year I fail and just fill up the car(s) with faaaarrrr to many products and kits and off I go haha.
As you can see we dont do things by halves haha.
It took few hours of setting up but we got there in the end
We had an amazing time, our fantastic new crochet zipped project bag kits flew out so quickly the two days worth were all gone by 2.3opm on the first day but other than that we had plenty of gorgeous products to keep everyone happy.
If I do say so myself the stand looked fabulous. what do you think?
Thank you so much to my gorgeous Daughter Chloe who put us up for the few days whilst we were at the show, its handy having a daughter who only lives 4 miles away from the Festival!!
