Named ‘Montpellier’ after the Old Montpellier Baths which were originally erected by Mr Thackrey, the then owner of the Montpellier Gardens and Crown Hotel estate. The Baths are supplied from a succession of valuable springs, nine of which are in the Montpellier garden and three on the Crown Hotel Estate.
This super 100% British Blue Faced Leicester Sock yarn is just the job for both socks and all other 4ply garments – its superb for holding alongside another strand of say Mohair/Silk or Alpaca/Silk and is a gorgeous, beautifully defined, yarn. One skein is enough to make a pair of socks and two would make a super sized shawl.
Produced from 100% British Bluefaced Leicester Sheep Wool this 4ply weight yarn is expertly spun locally by Laxtons and dyed by Fiona of the Harrogate Yarn Company exclusively for Yarn Etc.
Hand dyed and each batch of skeins is unique.
