Here at Yarn etc… Harrogate Independent Highly Commended Local Yarn Shop, we stock a mahoosive yield of marvellous yarns.
From UK based suppliers to indie dyers. And yarns from around the world including Scheepjes from the Netherlands, Grundl from Germany and Ella Rae from the USA.
Ranging from quality budget acrylics and copious cottons to alpaca, cashmere, merino, silk and yak.
In all weights from 2ply lace to super chunky.
And of course reflecting our colourful haven, every colour of the rainbow spectrum imaginable.
Notions…
We also have an extensive range of notions, needles and hooks too, to ensure you have everything you need for your yarny projects.
… but please do ask if you can’t find what you are looking for.
Whilst colours may vary very slightly depending on your device we do endeavour where possible to use the manufacturer’s photographs or well lit photographs to give as true an impression as possible.

When enquiring and ordering please do peruse what we supply and then provide as much detail as possible, regarding what you would like to order and include photos if they will assist with the order, so we can process your requirements as quickly & efficiently as possible.

Order Enquiries: Payment…
Online orders can be paid for at the time of order by Credit/Debit Card via the link in the shopping cart area of the website.
We are trying to avoid payment by cash at the present time due to possible links to Covid 19.

Order Enquiries: Delivery…
Please be aware, due to the current coronavirus restrictions, we cannot guarantee our usual delivery schedules and timings; these seem to vary depending on other aspects out of our control.
LOCAL COLLECTION:
If you live locally & can collect your order we are now open 10am to 4.30pm ~ Tuesdays to Saturdays.
LOCAL DELIVERY:
If you do live locally, and are unable to collect, please do enquire about alternative drop off services. If you are shielding and require a local delivery please do state this early in the order process and again forward your delivery address.
POSTAL ORDERS:
Once the order is confirmed – and payment made – we will endeavour to dispatch these email orders at least twice a week.
Ordering online, at the checkout you can select first or second class postage.
