We have been busy in house dyeing up 8 new colours here at THYC HQ. We have added a lovely range of shades which will work perfectly alone or with each other AND with the Mercer DK so there will be pretty much unlimited choices for colourwork and all those fabulous patterns that use more than one shade. These yarns will be available in person at Spring into Wool in April but if you are sneaky and want some now they are available on the website from now.
The Chalybeate is our fantastic Harrogate Yarn Co DK weight British Romney yarn and we are very proud of it. The yarn accepts colours beautifully and these semi solids were a joy to dye and are a joy to work with – I’m making a shawl at the moment using skein of Chalybeate in Shade Still Waters The Harrogate Yarn Company Chalybeate DK – Yarn etc… and one ball of Mercer DK in Bean’s Tea The Harrogate Yarn Company Mercer DK 100g – Yarn etc…and its looking amazing
