A familiar favourite with a fabulous new look – Stylecraft Life Wash DK brings a beautifully relaxed, stonewashed effect to the much-loved Life DK family.
Life Wash DK has a softly faded, almost lived-in appearance that adds depth and character to even the simplest stitches. Best of all, it has been designed to complement and coordinate perfectly with the regular solid shades and Nepp shades of Stylecraft Life DK, so you can happily mix and match across the ranges within the same project.
Made from the same practical blend of 75% Premium Acrylic and 25% Wool, Life Wash DK is soft and supple, lovely to work with and hard-wearing enough for everyday knits. It washes and wears beautifully too, making it a great choice for garments, blankets, accessories and family knits.
Each generous 100g ball contains 298 metres, giving you plenty of yarn for your money and making it an incredibly versatile addition to the Life DK collection.

I really like what Stylecraft have done with this one. Life Wash gives you that lovely slightly faded, stonewashed look without losing all the practical things we already love about Life DK.
The clever bit for me is that it works perfectly alongside the existing Life DK colours and the Nepp shades. You can use it on its own, of course, but start mixing the three together and you’ve suddenly got so many more possibilities for colourwork, stripes, blankets and garments.
It’s a really easy way of adding a bit more texture and interest to a project without actually having to do anything more complicated with your knitting or crochet – always a win in my book!
