Reborn Wool by Kremke is a sustainable yarn with character and our contribution to the slow fashion movement: Reborn Wool is a recycled yarn with a woolly feel and a great look. A chunky yarn for beginners that will help you achieve great results quickly!
Reborn Wool is sustainably and responsibly produced: Their yarn is created in a family-run business in India, where textile surpluses are recycled directly on site. The raw fibers don’t travel halfway around the world, but are sorted, shredded, and re-spun locally. It is made exclusively from post-consumer textiles, thus conserving valuable resources.
Reborn Wool consists of 65–75% recycled wool blended with recycled polyester (rPET) made from PET bottles. The rPET provides added stability and a consistent yarn structure. The coloring is achieved solely through the pre-sorting of recycled garments – without bleaching or dyeing. As a result, variations between batches may be greater than with conventionally dyed yarn.
Reborn Wool by Kremke is the ideal yarn for sustainable knitting projects. It combines environmentally friendly production, a beautiful look, and easy handling – perfect for anyone who wants to be creative with a clear conscience!
