This yarn is one of those that my lovely Rep Vanessa gave me to sample a couple of years ago and it sat on my shelf waiting patiently since then. Fast forward two years I went to a stockists day a couple of weeks ago and one of my friends, Mel from Ethel and Em at Lancaster was raving about it and I realized I still hadn’t sampled the ball, completely remiss of me as she is right, this stuff is an absolute gem. So, finally, let me introduce you to the Hjertegarn Organic Trio, Its a beautiful marled yarn which can knit happily to either sport or DK weight/needles and its just divine.
With a blend of Organic Merino, Organic Cotton and Silk it is a luxury yarn with a mid range price and I do not expect it to stay on the shelves for long. Did I mention it has an unbelievable 230 metres on a 50g ball! All I am going to say is that Mel made me get it and I am forever thankful she did!
