There’s a palette of vibrant shades that complement each other beautifully for endless colourful combinations ideal for colour-blocking, stripes and fluffy intarsia.

This machine washable, double knitting yarn creates a lightweight, downy fabric, perfect for cosy knits. Although it is a standard double knitting weight, you can experiment with larger needles to knit in even loftier layers to wear when the weather is changeable.

What’s it like to work with?

Lovely and light, you can work Soft Down on standard double knitting needles are go up a size or more to create an ever lofter, airy fabric that is as light on your needles as it is to wear. Our knitters tell us it’s a lot of fun too.
