Scheepjes New 100% Cotton Whirls

We all love a whirl right?  Well, Scheepjes have gone one step beyond and have created some new whirls which have removed the acrylic and made the Cotton Whirls with 100% cotton.  Scheepjes ‘New’ Cotton Whirl 4ply – Yarn etc… Available in a love range of colours, which I am sure will be growing and being added to in no time, these whirls are a magnificent 215g in weight and a whole whopping 1000 metres, you heard me, a full kilometer of yarn wowsers!

This beautiful new 100% cotton 4 ply gradient yarn is the new kid on the block in Scheepjes Whirl family and comes in several scrumptious colourways. Made from a blend of 100% cotton it produces projects that are lightweight and breathable. Unlike other gradient yarns, Whirl has a generous twist to enable speed while working the yarn and to help prevent splitting. The beautiful drape of this yarn makes it perfect for shawls, accessories, garments and stylish home décor projects.Scheepjes Whirls have a unique twisted plied section, which gives it a characteristic ‘flavour’ all of its own! This Extra Large yarn cake holds an enormous 1000 meters of softly colour changing yarn, more than enough for a large shawl or wrap.
