Named ‘Montpellier’ after the Old Montpellier Baths which were originally erected by Mr Thackrey, the then owner of the Montpellier Gardens and Crown Hotel estate. The Baths are supplied from a succession of valuable springs, nine of which are in the Montpellier garden and three on the Crown Hotel Estate.
This super 100% British Blue Faced Leicester Sock yarn is just the job for both socks and indeed any and all other 4ply garments – its superb for holding alongside another strand of say Mohair/Silk or Alpaca/Silk and is a gorgeous, beautifully defined, yarn. One skein is enough to make a pair of socks and two would make a super sized shawl.
Produced from 100% British Bluefaced Leicester Sheep Wool this 4ply weight yarn is expertly spun locally by Laxtons and dyed by Fiona of the Harrogate Yarn Company exclusively for Yarn Etc.
