What's on my needles this month I hear you say...haha, well plenty is the answer!
I have just finished a gorgeous baby blanket in Queensland Coastal Cotton Fine Ocean Mist (that's a right mouthful isn't it!) and we have kits to make it available in store and online now - take a look here.
I am also making the fabulous Night and Day cowl by Andrea Mowry using the Grundl Mirabella DK - Yarn etc... - its been a bit of an experiment but I am using just one ball as it has a huge meterage on it and I am using it from the inside and the outside of the ball so make the stripes. I am so chuffed with how its coming out, I hope you love it too. I want to make one in each of the Mirabella colourways just to see how they come out.

I have been making up sample squares of new yarns I am trialling lately and a couple of these you may have spotted in the shop already, namely the Baa Ram Ewe Meadow Chunky and Woodnote Aran ๐ You can find out more about these in my blog.
There will be more new yarns coming over the coming weeks so watch out on the socials.
Lastly on my hook is a new exciting ‘thing’ coming up. I’m saying no more but again we will be launching something soon and Lucy and I cannot wait - trying to stop Lucy exploding all the info on to the socials has been tricky, she's very very excited!!

I've said it before and I will say it again, do not throw away those ball bands eek!
They hold so so much information on them, not just the weight, length, yarn composition and needles but they also have the shade, dye lot, washing instructions, tension gauge and all sorts more.
If you must throw them away then before you start your project, photograph the ball of yarn with the details on the ball band whilst still on the ball of yarn and make sure they are clearly visible and then save the picture to a dedicated yarn album on your phone so you can refer back to it whenever you need to (like when you run out of the darn stuff with only two rows left to go!).
Not only will they be available whenever and wherever you are - who doesn't carry their phone with them 99.9% of the time - but it will also have a record of the actual yarn colour on there too.
You can thank me later ๐
