Oh my, what a month - I know I should have been sending this newsletter out before this year's Trail started but hey ho, as usual, ive been chasing my tail getting everything organised and ready for the event that sending out the newsletter telling you about it has been missed off the list!

The first week has been amazing - we have had visitors from al over the county and beyond and we are so happy to see everyone.
AND we are only half way through! There is still a further week of the Trail so you have plenty of time to join in the fun.
There are 12 shops this year plus a special honorary yarn shop - The Cone Exchange - a fantastic charity based in Harrogate which does amazing work within the local and further reaching community - you can find details of all of us on this year' map - have you got your copy yet? A copy of the map and shops included on the Trail can be found just below

So how does the Trail work
- Pick the first shop on the trail you want to visit.
- Go to that shop and pick up a map and your passport
- squish the yarn whilst you are there and check out each shops' special offers and buy all the squishies (pretty please). We have some great project bags and divine Limited Edition Hand Dyed Yarn exclusively produced for the Yarn Trail by Beehive Yarns.
- take your map and passport and goodies and move on to the next shop
- repeat steps 1-4
- when you are in the last shop you intend to visit then leave the passport with them for entry into the prize draw (no need to complete the passport if you dont have time, you will still get an entry for each passport stamp you have) and then go home and play with all the yarn you have 'rescued' from each of the shops and bask in the glow of your glory for being a saviour of these small businesses - we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
- Come visit the shops who have stands at Yarndale this year too if you didnt manage to visit them during the trail - Bugweeds, The Cone Exchange and Yarn Etc are all there and will have their stamps with them for you to get your passport stamped.
- We also have a NYYT stand at Yarndale in the Making Spaces area C34-40 where you can get an additional extra special stamp which gets you entry into a separate Yarndale Prize draw (you can leave your passports with us there too when you are finished on the Trail.
- P.S. Please share what you have bought on the NYYT Trail on our social media platforms - Facebook (10) Facebook and Instagram Instagram - we absolutely love seeing what you have bought and what you make with your goodies.
NOW WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR - There is a week left so please do come along and visit us. We promise a warm welcome and we h=cant wait to show you our fabulous shops.
