How to get to Yarn Etc using public transport and parking for workshops… (exciting huh? 🤣🚙🚗🚌🚏)
There is only limited parking available outside the front of the shop. On a weekend there is more flexibility to park outside the other shops/businesses on the parade subject to them being closed at the weekend.
Could we kindly request that you arrive at the shop no more than 5 minutes before the start of a workshop, this allows plenty of time for tutor change overs, room set ups (we want it perfect for you!) and there’s limited space in the shop on busy days to wait 😉
We have an excellent bus service running from Harrogate Bus Station, any Knaresborough Bus – Nos 1, 1a, 1b & 1c which stop directly outside of the shop and run every 10 minutes approximately. 🚌🚏
There is on street disc parking (discs available in the shop if you don’t already have one!- just ask!). The time limit for on street parking in the areas directly around the shop is 2 hours, perfect for a 2 hour workshop! Or, you can park further away where there are no restrictions…
The areas marked in red on the map (map in comments!) are unlimited parking, and all routes are a short 5(ish) minute walk following the routes set out in turquoise blue to the shop, via the ginnel from Kingsley Drive to Anchor Road/Roseville Road/Knaresborough Road.
There is also beyond the Empress Pub, again discs are available in the shop should you need one.

Up to 2 weeks prior to class – a full refund OR, if you prefer, transfer you to another class date should one be available.
Less than 2 weeks notice then no refund will be given but we will endeavour to transfer you to another class on an alternative date.
Less than 7 Days notice – no refund or transfer will be given.
The Tutor reserves the right to cancel this workshop should insufficient places be reserved. A full refund will therefore be made in this event or you may be offered an alternative date.
All refunds/transfers/changes to classes is to be directed to the Tutor of the workshop.
Any personal data (name, telephone number, email address etc) you give (Tutors name) in relation to the booking of classes will only ever be used in conjunction with the class you are attending and/or future classes you have shown an interest in attending. Any data received will be kept, securely, for a maximum of one year and will be destroyed at that time. Your data will never be sold or used for any other purpose.
